November 4
Chowder Chowdown

Mmm, chowdah! Watch – and taste – as Toronto chefs battle it out for champion of this seafood-centric event at the Fermenting Cellar in the Distillery

See what Chef Patrick McMurray (Ceilli Cottage) , Chef Takumi Saito (Hapa Izakaya), Chef Alyssa Becker (John & Sons Oyster House) and others whip up in the way of chowder. Wil it be New England or Manhattan?

What's on the Table

The 10th anniversary of The Stop’s annual fundraising event features Toronto restaurant food stations and a bevvy of Niagara wines, with all proceeds go to The Stop Community Food Centre’s critical anti-hunger programming.

Royal Winter Fair

If you think the Royal Winter Fair is all about horses, think again.

There’s a deep focus on food and wine this year.  With pop-up restaurants, ring-side dining, six restaurants and bars and a Food Court, you won’t go home hungry.

Not to be missed – The Road to the Royal Chef Challenge, where chefs across Ontario will compete for top spot.

Chocolate Dinner V

Enjoy a six-course chocolate tasting menu by the husband and wife team of Chef Eyal Liebman & Sommelière Rebecca Meïr-Liebman, hosted by Abbey Sharp of Abbey’s Kitchen. Try different vintages of Henry of Pelham Riesling as you take in the art of Supria Karkamar. Speak with the winemakers and artist. 

All proceeds of the event will go to Second Harvest Toronto.

GlutenFreedom Week

This week-long event offers 3-course gluten-free fare for a fixed price from Toronto restaurants. Look for menus from a wide range of restaurants such as  RasaVivioliThe Harbord RoomMagic OvenMata Petisco BarSotto SottoFishbar and Bangkok Garden.

Gluten Freedom Garage

This pop-up gluten-free marketplace is back at Wychwood Barns with over 60 vendors, food trucks and a beer + cider tasting. 

November 20 - 23
Gourmet Wine & Food Expo

This epic show is celebrating its 20th year in Toronto.

Go ahead and sample over 1,500 fine wines, spirits and beers from around the globe.  There are Tutored Tastings, a new VIP Area and Sommelier Tasting Bar, Caesar contest, Chef Lynn Crawford on the Food Network Stage Friday November 21st, All You Need is Cheese Stage and the Spiritology Pavilion with a hands-on lesson in creating cocktails from Toronto’s top mixologists.

KitchenAid Culinary Cook for the Cure Showdown

Smiling Land 2014 Rockin’ Big Give

This foundation strives to “spread Canada’s warm and welcoming East Coast culture and spirit through The Rockin’ Big Give fundraiser in support of a different Newfoundland and Labrador charity each year.”

This “one-of-a-kind Toronto kitchen party” brings in a celebrity guest chef each year, welcoming Celebrity Chef Jeremy Charles this year, which will serve Newfoundland and Labrador inspired hors d'oeuvres and "down-home remembrances."

Go for the good cause, stay for the food.

The Canadian Artisan Tasting Fair  

This event features local artisans such as bakers, cheesemakers, charcuterie butchersand craft breweries, along with Toronto restaurants showcasing their love of local fare and ingredients.
