Bazille

Yorkdale’s new Nordstrom arrives tomorrow. To take a breather from shopping, grab a bite or drink at their new restaurant Bazille, conveniently located on the third floor.

Dolly’s 
1285 Bloor St. W.

The new Filipino spot at Bloor and Landsdowne by the Playa Cabana team opens tonight at 5pm.

Jackpot Chicken Rice  
318 Spadina Ave.

Patois owners opened JCR on Tuesday in the old Lucky Red spot in Chinatown.

Toronto’s first Hainanese chicken rice restaurant showcases rich "oil rice" served with poached Hainanese chicken or Southeast Asian-style roasted chicken and a variety of dipping sauces.

Kanga Aussie Meat Pies 
150 King St. W.

The third location opens on Friday.

If you aren’t already addictive to these buttery, flaky Aussie meat pies, now’s your chance.

Philthy Philly's

The Stockyards Shopping Centre is now home to a selection of Philly cheesesteaks and poutines.

Socialite Tapas Bar  
276 Augusta Ave.

Taking over Torito’s long reign on tapas in Kensington, Socialite carries on the small plates tradition.

Superpoint  
184 Ossington Ave.

Bar Fancy’s team is behind this new restaurant on Ossington, serving up pizzas, pastas, salads and snacks.

Starting Saturday, go to a film festival you can really sink your teeth into. 

On Wednesday head to Food for Action fundraising dinner by Action Against Hunger, featuring 20 chefs at George Brown College’s Hospitality and Tourism Campus.
