he openings have slowed a little this week (don’t worry, May is going to be madness). There are however, a host of great events to look forward to.

Asada Mexican Grill
1991 Yonge St.

The second location of Asada opened Tuesday, after a long wait, so get your burritos, tacos, tortas and boxes fix now.

ASAP City
2075 Danforth Ave.

ASAP City offers unexpected burger and sandwich combinations such as the Papa Joe Burger (6oz all beef steak patty, hash brown, sharp cheddar, tomato, lettuce and onion) and Le French Sandwich (chicken breast à la crème, fresh herbs and sautéed mushrooms topped with Philly cheese sauce).

Flaming Bull 
378 Bloor St. W.

Featuring Chinese and Taiwanese fare, this new spot in the Annex offers a signature tasting menu for $66 per person.

Pronto Café
790 Bay St.

The new café offers wallet-friendly options for brekkie and lunch. Select from a variety of dishes including grain salads ($4.25-$4.95), Mediterranean Egg Salad ($4.95) made with free-range eggs and no mayo, and Soup of the Day ($3.65).

Closed:

P.O. Box 1192 Snack Bar has closed on Queen East.

Further east along Queen, Crate has also closed.

Both have bailiff notices on the doors.
