New Travel Article – The Old & New World Charms of Montreal

There is so much to love about Montreal, the second-largest city in Canada.

The shops and architecture, a blend of old-world-meeting-new-world, offers something for everyone.

There is Old Montreal, where you can walk down narrow cobblestone streets and finish your evening with a meal at Gibby’s.  It’s located in the Youville Stables which, according to their website, “is part of a series of buildings once belonging to the Sisters of  Charity, (or Grey Nuns).”  Part of the original structure was built in 1694.

If you’re looking for something more modern, you’ll probably like the rooms at Hotel Le Dauphin Downtown where you not only get a computer with high-speed internet and wi-fi in your room, to use for free with your accommodation, but a  DVD player so you can rent a movie,  flat screen Plasma TV and a beautiful glass shower in a marble-tiled, heated floor bathroom.

Of course there are museums and galleries, restaurants and cafes, clothing stores, festivals, casinos and so much to see and do, that you may have to make a number of trips.

That’s what I’ve done.  And each and every time, I experience something new and exciting.

Look into Cheap Flights to Montreal and book yourself a vacation to remember!
