I’m reading Ann Vanderhoof’s The Spice Necklace right now, which is about her and her husband’s culinary excursions throughout the Caribbean on their boat.
Not only is it making me hungry, now I want to seek out Caribbean Cruises and follow in her footsteps – taking in the sights and sounds (and of course, foods) of the Caribbean!
I love the idea of taking a cruise – you can cover so many islands and never have to unpack and change where you’re staying. Now that’s luxurious!
Where do you want to go first? Go East and drink in the colourful splendor of Antigua, Bermuda, St. Maarten and St. Thomas. Explore the West coast in Cozumel and the Grand Cayman. Venture South and discover Aruba, Bonaire, Cuacao, Dominica, Trinidad and Tobago.
No matter where you go, it’s going to be memorable.
Choose from the many Caribbean ports available: Antigua, Aruba, Barbados, Belize City, Bequia, Bonaire. Casa de Campo, Costa Maya, Cozumel, Curacao, Dominica, Freeport , Galveston, Grand Cayman, Grand Turk, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Havana, Jost Van Dyke, Key West, Martinique, Mobile, Montego Bay, Nassau, Nevis, New Orleans, Ocho Rios, Playa del Carmen (Calica), Port of Spain, Trinidad, Progreso, Roatan, San Juan, St. Barth’s, St. Croix, St. John, USVI, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Martin, St. Thomas, St. Vincent, Tampa, Tortola and Virgin Gorda.
And don’t forget to pack your camera and bathing suit – you’re going to need them!
