The Toronto Chocolate Festival – Over 3 weeks of sweet treats

Chocoholics, your time is now. The Toronto Chocolate Festival returns this month, celebrating 11 years of chocolate-centric events.

Taking place from Saturday, October 15 to Sunday, November 6, 2016, the festival hosts over three weeks of fun-filled events, held at various venues around the city, including:

 - Chocolate High Tea at the Omni King Edward Hotel

Afternoon Tea gets a sweet upgrade with chocolates (Lindt Chocolate and Crispy Caviar-dipped Strawberries) and chocolate pastries (Black Forest Chocolate Pot de Crème) served every weekend during the festival. You can even sip on chocolate teas, such as Chocolate Truffle, Mint Chocolate and Cocoa Chai.

 - The Toronto Luxury Chocolate Show

For one day only - Sunday, November 6 - the Rotunda of Roy Thomson Hall will be filled with chocolate everything: from hands-on chocolate making classes to wine and chocolate tasting experiences. There's even a chocolate eating contest.

- The ChocOlympics featuring The 911 Chocolate Relay and Media Chocolate Relay

It’s going to get messy but it’ll be a sweet victory. The 9-1-1 Relay features teams of Police Officers, Firefighters and Paramedics who have to eat as much chocolate as possible to win the annual Chocolate Bowl and help raise money for charity.

- Discovery Passport Coupons

Can’t make it out to the events? You can still indulge in your love of all things chocolate.

Beginning Thursday, October 13, download coupons (redeemable during festival dates only) to be used at participating chocolatiers, pastry shops and restaurants throughout the GTA and beyond. These chocolate specialties are available just once a year.
