No snow yet and nine new spots to discover this weekend. Not too shabby for the beginning of December.

Open:

Appalachia Smokehouse BBQ 
2416 Lakeshore Blvd. W.

The second location opened Tuesday.

Awai
2277 Bloor St. W.

Bloor West Village’s new vegan restaurant with Chef Nathan Isberg at the stove, has "softly" opened.

Fahrenheit Coffee
529 Richmond St. W.

The second location, featuring coffee made with beans roasted in Ontario, opened Monday.

Forno Cultura
100 King St. W.

You can now grab your favourite FC baked goods at their second location in First Canadian Place - Market Place, Concourse Level.

Jack and Lil's
823 Dundas St. W.

South African brunch is now available on Sundays from 10-2.

Dishes include: Township Eggs, South African Seed Bread, Cinnabun Pudding, Maple Mustard Breakfast Sausage and Guava Strained Yogurt.

Little Pebbles 
160 Baldwin St.

Ooh, these French-inspired Japanese desserts are going to help get you through the season:

- Strawberry or matcha roll cakes
- Chiffon cakes covered in red bean, black sesame or matcha cream
- Matcha, yuzu, berry, and black sesame macarons
- Dacquoise (almond meringue) with sweet, savory matcha or black sesame cream.

Leslieville got a new watering hole with craft beer and cocktails on Tuesday.

A new superfood snack café by Holistic Nutritionist Kate Taylor Martin opens in Summerhill this week.

The menu includes sweet and savoury open-faced toasts, bars, and energy balls.

Rancho Relaxo To Go 
300 College St.

Rancho Relaxo – now known as Rancho Relaxo to Go – is back in its original location.

With tablecloths and chandeliers to come. Just like back in the day.

Toronto food delivery service Favor has shuttered. 

Darcy MacDonell, owner of Farmhouse Tavern, started a "Respect the Restaurant" social media campaign after having 97 cancellations and no-shows took place in just 24 hours.
