Open/Closed for the week of February 22-28

Openings are slow this week, but not to worry – March and April are going to be jammed with new spots around town.

And there's still lots to do thanks to the fabulous events happening around town this weekend.

The Oliver & Bonacini resto specializing in "eclectic west coast cuisine" opens today at Saks Fifth Avenue, CF Sherway Gardens.

Liberty Village's newest caféoffers in-house baked pastries, salads, and pizzas. Liquor is soon to come.

Closed:

Khao San Road closes after dinner service tomorrow.  They’ll reopen in three months at their new home on Charlotte St.

Capra’s Kitchen will be serving their last brunch this Sunday until their reopening mid-April.

Tonight head to the St. Lawrence Market for FoodShare’s Recipe for Change.

One of the biggest food shows of the year, Restaurants Show Canada, takes place this Sunday to Tuesday at the Enercare Centre.

It’s Oscar weekend and The Drake Hotel is throwing quite the bash Sunday night with host Richard Crouse, complete with prizes and a $37 prix-fixe menu.

On Wednesday, Dixon Hall Neighbourhood Services presents Dixonlicious: A Taste of Community at Daniels Spectrum, a fundraiser for food programs providing to those in need. Dishes are paired with fine wines, craft beers and spirits.
