Toronto Taste 2016 – An epic culinary event for a great cause

On Sunday, June 12 head lakeside to Corus Quay for this year’s Toronto Taste presented by The Daniels Corporation,  one of the biggest food fundraising events of the year.

It all goes to one of the best causes - Second Harvest, Canada’s largest food rescue charity.

This year’s almost 70 participating chefs from Toronto restaurants include: JP Challet (The Fifth Grill), Adam Lariviere (Harvest Kitchen – YMCA), Dustin Kennaley (Madeleines), Marc Thuet (Petite Thuet), Jordan Barnett (The Ritz Bar), Rodrigo De Romana (Rodney's Oyster House), Carolyn Reid (Scaramouche Restaurant), and
Massimo Renzi and Marisa Rocca (Sotto Sotto).

In addition to fabulous food and drinks and the chance to meet and talk with your favourite chefs, there is a live auction, online auction, fine wine auction, and unbelievable raffle prizes

1ST PRIZE: A Tour of India for Two People (value: $12,340)
2ND PRIZE: Diamonds are Forever (value: $5,000)
3RD PRIZE: A Fully Catered Blue Jays Suite (value: $4,000)

A new featurethis year is the Chef Challenge where you have the change to be be a sous chef to one of the three competing chefs(Chefs Kaya Ogruce, Darby Piquette and Ivana Raca).  Andone top fundraiser will earn a spot on the all-star judge’s panel with Cynthia Beretta, Chef Nick Liu, Chef Matt DeMille and Chef Juriaan Snellen.

And how cool is this - The CN Tower will be lit up in green in recognition of this legendary culinary fundraiser.
