This week I’ve got 10 intriguing options for you, all completely different from the next.

Vietnamese? Check. Taiwanese? Check. Gin and vodka? Double check.

OPENINGS

The second location for Calii Love (1235 Bay St.) is serving up “good vibes only,” poké, acai bowls, smoothies and coffee at the corner of Bay and Bloor.

Hangry Burger (437 Yonge St.) is back in business at Yonge and College. Menu options include: Jamaican Me Hangry ($8.99), Double Trouble ($10.99) and Smoking Bull ($8.99)

Yorkville’s new HÖM Cafe (95 Cumberland St.) has got it all – European-style all-day breakfast (Hungarian Crepes $10.95), hearty lunch options (Goulash $9.50, Schnitzel Plate $18.95) and pastries, available until 5 pm.

Sip on Taiwanese bubble tea sweetened with honey at Chinatown’s new Kung Fu Tea (264 Spadina Ave.).

Mi'hito Sushi Laboratory (293 College St.) is offering free sushi burritos at their new College and Spadina location until Friday. Conditions apply.

The Port House Social Bar & Kitchen (139 Lakeshore Rd E.) in Mississauga is now open, with a medley of wings, burgers, stone-baked pizzas, and pastas to choose from. Really hungry? Tuck into The Tomahawk ($139), a 40 ounce bone-in recommended for two, served with garlic mash, seasonal vegetables and trio of sauces.

Enjoy a range of coffees and sweet treats in the cool, white space of Public Park Coffee (445 Adelaide St. W.).

Toronto’s newest distillery, Spirit of York Distillery Co. (12 Trinity St.), opens today. The epic space includes a tasting venue and retail shop boasting custom-made bitters from the Bitters Library, 750 mL gin and vodka bottles, and mixology equipment. I’ll have a closer look for you soon.

Stelvio (354 Queen St. W.) is back, complete with a brand new look and menu. Buckwheat, however, still reigns supreme.

Craving Vietnamese in the Annex? You’re in luck. Vietnam Lovely Noodle (378 Bloor St. W.) offers a wide range of dishes including: French Style Ketchup Beef Brisket ($6.99), Grilled Pork Neck ($7.99), and Seafood Laska Noodle (sm $7.99, lg $9.99).
