The Dish – Tacos

Tacos are always a good idea. So why shouldn’t Taco Tuesday be celebrated all week long? And at a deep discount too?

Luckily, Toronto restaurants and bars feel the same way, offering daily features where you can indulge in your love of all things tacos every day of the week. And for just $1-$12.95.

Take a look:

Chadwick's Craft Kitchen & Bar
268 Howland Ave.

If you’re of the mindset that one taco is never enough, Chadwick’s at Dupont has got you covered.

The fillings change every week, with one, sometimes two selections on Tallboys & Tacos Thursdays.

Three Tacos & A Tallcan ($18.50) could include beef brisket, chicken, pulled pork, fish, braised beef, pork belly, or veggie, so you should probably go every week to try each one.

The Cloak & Dagger Pub
394 College St.

Did you know that every Sunday is Tacofest at this wood-paneled watering hole at College and Bathurst?

This all-you-can-eat event at the edge of Little Italy has been in effect since 201, and the low price remains eight years later. For just 10 bucks per person, build/eat as many tacos as you want. Options include meat and veg selections, hard and soft shells.

Sunday Funday, indeed.

Craft Beer Market
1 Adelaide St. E.

The colossal taproom from out west celebrates Taco Tuesdays with fish tacos ($3 ea.) after 2pm.

p.s. Since you’re there anyway, get in on half priced bottles of rosé & $6 local IPA, available all day.

Firkin Pubs
Multiple locations

From the company that brought you Grilled Mac n’ Cheesewich, Pierogi Flatbread, and Big Effin Nachos, comes Fish Tacos ($5) alongside Coors Light ($6) every Tuesday.

Since it’s a larger chain, calorie counts are included for each item. The tacos are 320 cals each and beer is 180 cals per 20 ounces, so you can plan accordingly.

And with 24 locations across the GTA, you’ll have no trouble finding one near you.

Jasper Dandy
725 Queen St. E.

Got a case of the Mondays? Head to Riverside’s newest bar for their $5 Mexican specials - Tequila Tromba, Modela Especial, and Fish Tacos.

Rally Restaurant & Bar
Two locations - 1660 O’Connor Dr. and 4950 Yonge St.

Whichever location you choose - the long standing sport bar on O’Connor or the just opened spot in North York - hump day is a bit easier knowing that tacos ($4*), Margaritas ($5) and Corona ($5) are waiting for you.
