Not-to-be-missed Event: Exclusive Ghanaian Brunch By Top Chefs In Toronto

Toronto’s culinary landscape includes an array of cuisines and cultures, so it’s fitting that next month the food of Ghana is in the spotlight.

As part of this year’s Terroir Sympoisum’s programming, Open Kitchen Toronto, Ufficio Restaurant and Chef Ivana Raca are hosting a Ghanaian brunch with three talented chefs: Selassie Atadika of Midunu in Ghana, Amanda Cohen of award-winning Dirt Candy NYC, and Olivia Simpson of Ricky + Olivia Events Toronto.

This spectacular feast will feature traditional ingredients from both Ghana and Canada. And while the menu has not yet been released, enticing traditional Ghanaian dishes such as fufu (made with cassava, plantains or yams), waakye (rice and beans), red red (black eyed peas, plantains and palm oil), and jollof rice (made with tomatoes) are sure to serve as inspiration.

And this epic event won’t solely be a tasty affair - all profits raised will create a culinary scholarship awarded to one woman in Ghana.

A one-day-only brunch by top female chefs across the globe? Including VQA wine pairings? With money going to support others in the industry?

Your weekend midday meal just got seriously elevated. Get tickets now.
