Michelin Guide inspectors found 21 Toronto restaurants worthy of the Bib Gourmand designation this year, joining 17 Starred (1 two-star, 14 one-star, and for the first time 2 one green star) and 46 Recommended restaurants. According to the guide, this distinction “recognizes great food at a great value. These are restaurants where one can have two courses and a glass of wine or dessert for less than $60.”

The 2023 Bib Gourmand roster remains largely unchanged from last year’s inaugural edition: 2022’s 17 establishments retain their status, with four restaurants added this year, disclosed over a week prior to the official ceremony.

In early August, the fine dining compendium announced 12 new additions to this year’s guide, 49 days ahead of the official announcement on September 27.
