2024 MICHELIN GUIDE TORONTO & REGION | Starred Restaurants
🕘 4 min read
Woah. Michelin Guide decided to really switch things up for its third Toronto edition. What to expect? Not only will you find establishments outside the city limits, but waaay beyond the GTA. Read: Road trips via car or possibly train are required modes of transport to get there from the city.
This year’s roster boasts 100 restaurants, with a plethora of new options and movement of others. Here’s a quick overview:
2024 Stars:
• 1 Two Star
• 15 One Stars
Changes from last year:
Four new One Stars: Two in Toronto/GTA: DaNico (Toronto), Hexagon (Oakville). Two way out of town: The Pine (Creemore - Simcoe County), Restaurant Pearl Morissette (Jordan Station - Niagara Region).
Second Michelin Green Star added to selection: Restaurant Pearl Morissette.
Two restaurants lost their star status this year: Alobar Yorkville and Yukashi. Both have been moved to this year’s Recommended category.
Previous starred establishment shuttered: Frilu came to an end a few months ago - less than two months prior to Michelin award announcements this year.
